Truck Crash Leads to Party Bus Fire in Rural Saline County

A single-vehicle accident on West Armstrong and North Brookville Road led to a party bus fire early Sunday morning, resulting in one injury and significant property damage.

Chance Miller, 27, of Rural Saline County, was seriously injured when his 2002 Dodge Ram truck went off Brookdale Road and rolled at approximately 2:26 AM. Miller was ejected from the vehicle during the crash and transported to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash scattered debris across the road, including a welder from Miller's truck. A privately owned party bus, driven by Brandon Lindquist, 49, subsequently struck the welder, which became lodged beneath the vehicle and sparked a fire. While the bus was totally destroyed, Lindquist was uninjured as no passengers were aboard at the time.

Authorities are investigating whether alcohol was a factor in the initial crash.
