In a dramatic and fiery turn of events on Friday evening, a tractor fire incident north of Solomon on 2700 Avenue left one man with minor injuries.
The blaze, which engulfed the vehicle around 6:20 PM, was triggered moments after a distinct "pop" noise emanated from the newly serviced tractor piloted by Ryan Stark. Stark, demonstrating impressive composure under pressure, managed to leap from the flaming machine and navigate through the burning wheat surrounding the tractor to reach safety, suffering only minor burns and lacerations in the process.
The incident commenced shortly after Stark had returned home with the tractor, freshly retrieved from the dealership earlier that morning. The vehicle had just undergone the installation of a new wiring harness.
