On June 12 at 6:08 pm, Saline County deputies responded to an injury accident at milepost 159 on US 81 Highway. A silver 2010 Toyota Corolla, driven by Jennifer Alley, 48, of Salina, was heading southbound when a back tire blew out.
Alley lost control of the vehicle, which went into a ditch and rolled into an embankment. Although she declined medical treatment at the scene, Alley later went to the hospital on her own for evaluation of minor injuries.
