The Kansas Geological Survey recorded 2 earthquakes on Thursday, May 18. The first quake registered a 2 on the Richter Scale and struck at 4:52 pm. It was located near E Lapsley and S Niles.

The second quake registered a 2.8 on the Richter Scale and struck at 10:09 pm. It was located near E Hedburg and S Woodward.

The last earthquake in Saline County was on Monday, May 15.
