Threat with Knife Over Water Spigot Leads to Arrest

A Salina man was arrested in connection to possible threats made in Downtown Salina.

Captain Hanus says that the alleged incident occurred on Thursday, May 11, at 11:04 pm. Officers were dispatched to 117 N Santa Fe, Spicoli's, for suspicious activity. A male employee advised that they had been threatened while at work. They had gone out back of the restaurant to confront someone who was allegedly using the water spigot. That person allegedly made a threat to the employee.

On investigation, another employee verified the the allegations. Officers then began searching for the possible suspect. Sometime later, the alleged suspect went into the police department. He was identified as 37-year-old Tadd Marshall of Salina and arrested on the following requested charges:

  • Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon
  • Criminal Threat

The alleged criminal incident possibly involved displaying a knife during the threat.
