Over $1,000 in building materials are missing from a construction site in eastern Saline County.
The materials are missing from the 3500 block of E Magnolia Rd. Midwest Structures, LLC based in Pretty Prairie, KS, reported that between August 11 and 15, unknown individuals managed to abscond with a substantial haul, consisting of 18 boxes of valuable Atlas fasteners, a Mid-Am white walk-through door with windows, and a staggering 140 white metal soffit panels. The combined value of the stolen items is estimated to be around $1,085.
These items were stored outside a construction building that was being constructed.
