Friday, November 22, 2024, was opening night for The Sound of Music at Theatre Salina, 303 E. Iron, Salina, Kansas.

Prior to the opening night performance, the presentation of the "Legacy Robe" took place with cast and crew members present. The "Legacy Robe" goes to the ensemble member with the most appearances in a musical.
Keira Hoffman, the previous winner of the Legacy Robe, reads a narrative before announcing the new winner.
This year's Legacy Robe winner is Kinsleigh Showman. Kinsleigh is the daughter of Ryan and Jenni Showman and is a sophomore at Salina High School South.
