The Bath Pub Confirms Closure, Launches Storewide Clearance Sale Through August
SALINA, KS — The Bath Pub, located at 109 South Santa Fe Avenue in downtown Salina, has officially announced it will close its doors on August 30, 2025. A 50% off clearance sale is currently underway and will continue through the end of the month.
Salina311 reached out to the business after increasing community speculation surrounding a recent gift card expiration notice and social media posts promoting major markdowns. In response, The Bath Pub made a public post on Facebook confirming the closure and addressing customer questions.
“There have been lots of questions surrounding recent posts so I am happy to address them here,” the owner wrote.
“Five years ago I opened this store in beautiful downtown Salina, and it has been an amazing experience. I have met a lot of wonderful people and have had a great time. However, as you may have guessed, I have made the decision to close our doors August 30th. This is a personal decision… not an easy one… but it is what is right for me and my family at this juncture.”
“Thank you all for the support you have shown me and my employees over the last five years. It has been great!
Having said that… when one door closes another door opens… so keep your eyes out for what is coming next to 109 S Santa Fe!! You won’t want to miss it!! And keep supporting local. Thank you all. We will continue our clearance sale through the end of August. We are a bit short staffed at the moment as well… so we appreciate your patience as we work through the next three weeks.”
The Bath Pub also confirmed that all gift cards must be redeemed by September 1, after which they will no longer be valid.
Since opening in 2020, the store has specialized in bath and body products, candles, and locally made goods. While no official word has been shared on what might take its place, the owner hinted that a new venture is on the horizon.
