Higher Praise Church, located at 1220 Greeley Ave, held its annual tradition of giving back to the community on Saturday morning.
Just in time for Thanksgiving, 100 turkeys were given away to anyone who needed one to help celebrate Thanksgiving this next week. The frozen birds were handed to drivers through the helping hands of volunteers.
This community outreach is an annual event for Higher Praise Church, and is actually one of many the congregation holds to support the Salina community throughout the year.
