On Saturday, November 4, at 12:35 am, an officer on patrol near the 2400 block of S 9th reportedly observed a 15-year-old individual throwing rocks at a window of the Petco business. Upon approaching the individual, the officer detected signs that suggested she may have been under the influence of alcohol. Subsequently, the teenager was taken into custody. During the arrest process, the teen allegedly resisted, leading to her being placed in a body wrap. She was arrested on the requested charges of felony damage to property, consumption of alcohol by a minor, and battery. The estimated cost of the damage on the Petco window is estimated at $1,000.
