Teen Allegedly Threatened in North Salina

On Monday, November 6 at 6:06 pm, officers were dispatched to the 1000 block of N. 5th. Upon their arrival, they made contact with individuals, including a 16-year-old male victim and his 46-year-old mother, who was a witness. The teenage victim reported that during an argument, a family member, identified as 49-year-old Manford Jackson, allegedly pulled out a 5-6 inch fixed blade knife and threatened the teenager, saying he was going cut his body up.

Jackson was arrested on the requested charges of criminal threat, aggravated assault, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
