T-Mobile Salina to Host First-ever Free Photos with Santa and The Grinch: A Treat for Kids and Grown-ups Alike
T-Mobile Salina is set to bring holiday cheer to the community with its first-ever free photo event featuring Santa Claus and The Grinch. The festive gathering will take place on Saturday, December 21, from 12:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the local T-Mobile store.
Kindel Culver, manager of the T-Mobile Store in Salina, shared that this inaugural event aims to create a magical experience for children and families. "We thought creating a magical experience with a wider variety of characters would be more fun for the kids," Culver explained. In addition to Santa and The Grinch, three elves will also be present to enhance the holiday atmosphere.
The event promises more than just photo opportunities. Attendees can enjoy warm cinnamon doughnuts, hot apple cider, and candy canes. A mini drive-in movie setup will showcase old Christmas movies and cartoons from the public domain catalog, providing entertainment for young visitors.
While the event caters primarily to children, adults haven't been forgotten. T-Mobile will be offering special promotions during the event, including free activation fees, iPhone deals, and discounts on home internet services. The store will also have a variety of audio products, tablets, and watches available for last-minute holiday shoppers.
Families are encouraged to bring their own cameras for the photo sessions. However, T-Mobile will offer free printing services, with guests having the option to bring their own photo paper or have images printed on regular paper at no cost.
As this is the store's first event of this kind, Culver mentioned that they are "testing the waters" regarding attendance. "We have a full staff on duty ready to accommodate large crowds if needed," she assured.
Looking beyond the event, Culver highlighted T-Mobile's recent technological advancement: "Star Link T-Mobile beta is now live and available for customers to sign up for via the T-Life app. It provides satellite cellular coverage for the 500,000 square miles of land in the USA not covered by earthbound cellular towers, giving customers seamless coverage anywhere they go."
Depending on the turnout and community response, this holiday photo event may become an annual tradition for T-Mobile Salina, offering local families a festive way to celebrate the season while exploring the latest in mobile technology.
