UPDATE: The Liberal Police Department reported that Ricky Moore was located in Garden City, Kansas, and that he is in good condition. The statewide silver alert has been canceled. Thanks for your assistance during the alert.
The Liberal Police Department requested that the Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) issue a statewide Silver Alert for a missing Liberal man.
The whereabouts of 71-year-old Ricky Moore are unknown, and the public’s assistance is requested to help locate him.
Ricky was last seen leaving his residence near 14th St. and N. New York Ave. in Liberal, Kansas on July 3, around 6:30 a.m. He has not been seen or heard from since then. Ricky did not show up to work or to other activities that he frequents, which is unlike him. He does not own a vehicle. Officers believe he may no longer been in the area.
Ricky is a black male who is around 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs around 200 pounds. He has brown eyes and black hair. Ricky walks with a cane due to concerns with his balance.
