Salina Public Schools (SPS) proudly announces the selection of Paul Mensching as the executive director of maintenance and operations.
Mensching has 29 years of school experience including 15 years as superintendent, most recently serving at Harrisonville School District in Missouri. His extensive experience includes project planning, construction and completion.
“We are excited to welcome Paul,” explained Linn Exline, superintendent. “His experience will help maintain the excellent quality of our facilities and continue to develop our invaluable community partnerships.”
Having started in education as a high school social studies teacher, Mensching also coached boys’ basketball and football before he accepted the role of athletic director. His experience also included being a junior high principal for one year and a high school principal for five years.
Mensching earned his bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education with an emphasis in teaching social studies from Westminster College. From William Woods University he earned a master’s degree in Secondary Education Administration, Educational Specialist degree, principal and superintendent certifications.
