Salina Police have confirmed that the multi-vehicle crash at Centennial Road and Sunflower Drive was the result of a road rage incident, according to preliminary information obtained by Salina311.
Based on early investigative findings, a tan vehicle was identified as the aggressor toward a maroon vehicle. The two vehicles collided, causing the maroon vehicle to flip and come to rest inside Jumpin’ Joe’s go-kart track.
After the initial collision, the tan vehicle reportedly lost control and was involved in a head-on collision with a white vehicle.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and confirmed multiple injuries. The number and severity of injuries have not yet been fully released.
Salina Police remain on scene and continue to investigate the incident. Additional details, including potential charges, are expected to be released as the investigation progresses.
