Salina Police Officers and Dispatchers recently underwent comprehensive CPR/First Aid training encompassing adult, child, and infant CPR, rescue breathing, first aid, injury mitigation, emergency wound treatment, and identification and treatment of shock and other medical conditions. This vital training equips our personnel to offer immediate assistance to citizens while awaiting the arrival of SFD paramedics/EMT, ensuring the scene is secure. Brandon Doubrava, a seasoned medical trainer from the Salina Fire Department and one of SPD SWAT Medics, dedicated time to train the department in these essential life-saving skills.
