SPD Investigating Deadly Golf Cart Crash

On the morning of October 29th, at 9:22 am, officers and medics responded to Great Life Golf and Fitness, located at 1800 S. Marymount Rd, in response to a report of a subject found deceased under a golf cart. The victim, 56-year-old Barry Little of Salina, had apparently been operating a golf cart on the course overnight.

It appeared Little veered off the cart path and struck a tree, and the golf cart landed on top of him. The victim was found by a subject who was walking the course the following morning.

The traffic unit is investigating the incident as a vehicle crash.
