Southeast of Saline's girls went 4-5-6-7-8 as they captured the team title at the Halstead Invitational.
The defending Class 3A champions were led by Piper Brown who was given the edge over teammate Anna Jackson for fourth. Both ran 21:12. Cali Augustine was sixth in 21:38, Regan Duran seventh in 21:59 and Ava McGraw eighth in 22:02.
Brayden Walker ran 16:49 to pace the Southeast boys, which was good for a silver medal, snapping his streak of gold medals to open the season at four.
Jacob Tonne was sixth in 16:58, Jacob Bircher seventh in 17:19, Zachary Carlin 12th in 18:04 and Brooks Carlin 19th in 18:16 as the Trojan claimed the team crown.
