SkyWest Soars: Salina Passenger Traffic Jumps in October

Salina, KS β€” The Salina Airport Authority has reported continued growth in passenger traffic and fuel usage through October 2025, reflecting increased commercial airline activity and general aviation movement at Salina Regional Airport.

SkyWest Airlines recorded 6,180 total passengers in October 2025, compared to 4,160 in October 2024, representing a notable year-over-year increase. Total scheduled enplanements for the month also rose from 2,056 in October 2024 to 3,104 in October 2025. Year-to-date scheduled and charter enplanements reached 30,082 in 2025, up from 21,129 over the same period in 2024.

Fuel flowage data similarly showed growth. Total fuel sold in October 2025 was 168,922 gallons, compared to 188,094 gallons in October 2024, while year-to-date totals increased from 1,817,048 gallons in 2024 to 2,137,456 gallons in 2025.

Overall airport operations in October 2025 totaled 5,885, compared with 6,822 in October 2024. Year-to-date operations from January through October reached 59,174 in 2025, up from 56,531 during the same period in 2024.
