Silver Needles Quilt Guild Spreads Holiday Cheer with Generous Donations

Dedicated members of the Silver Needles Quilt Guild, namely Pam Smith, Jody Britt, and Kristy Yenkey, displayed their holiday spirit by delivering a heartwarming contribution of 260 pillowcases for Meals On Wheels Christmas gifts. Continuing their philanthropic efforts, the trio extended their generosity to the Martin Luther King Day Care Center, delivering 37 pillowcases and 13 quilts to benefit 50 children. Karen Henderson and Jacque Metzger, representatives of the center, were on hand to graciously accept the donations, ensuring that each child would have a special gift to take home.

In another act of kindness, the Silver Needles Quilt Guild delivered 22 quilts to the Salina Regional Health Center, where Stacie Maes and Aaron Anders gratefully received the thoughtful gifts. These charitable endeavors by the guild members have undoubtedly brightened the holiday season for these deserving groups, exemplifying the spirit of giving and community support.
