Severe Thunderstorm Warning

The NWS in Wichita has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for northwestern Saline County in central Kansas until 10:15 pm. At 9:45 pm, a severe thunderstorm was located near Culver, or 13 miles southwest of Minneapolis, moving northeast at 20 mph. 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail are possible. This is a radar indicated storm. Hail damage to vehicles is expected, along with wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. Locations impacted include Glendale. This includes I-70 between mile markers 236 and 247. The maximum radar indicated hail threat is 1 in, and the radar indicated wind gust is 60 mph.
