Southeast of Saline Junior High's boys and girls celebrated the culmination of their already triumphant seasons by securing victories at the League Tournament in Ellsworth.
Girls' head coach Dillon Goodell proudly shared that his team emerged victorious against Ellsworth and Minneapolis, showcasing the talents of a squad predominantly composed of six 8th graders. Simultaneously, the boys' team, under the guidance of head coach Jeff Besher, triumphed over Republic County and Ellsworth. Besher emphasized the collaborative effort of his all-8th grade team. Both coaches commended their players for their dedicated efforts, acknowledging the exceptional group of student-athletes who contributed to the success.
