On Friday, August 11, after 5 pm, Sheriff's Investigators served a search warrant in the 700 block of Sheridan.
Arrested was Thomas Golde, III, on the requested charges on conspiracy to commit aggravated escape and criminal solicitation. Also charged in connection to this incident was 37-year-old Johnathon Mullen, a Saline County Jail inmate. His requested charges are also conspiracy to commit aggravated escape and criminal solicitation.
Investigators had reportedly received information that there who were going to attempt to help Mullen escape custody when he was taken to court, possibly by force. Information was gathered and it was allegedly discovered that Golde and another person were going to help Mullen escape custody by use of force.
