Saline County Commission Awards Bid for Court Services Roof Layover

During the April 2, 2024 County Commission meeting, a request for action was made regarding the roof condition of the former Sheriff’s Office, now housing Court Services. Sealed bids were opened, with five bids meeting specifications. Meridian Roofing submitted the lowest bid of $67,055.00, with a 15-year warranty. Staff recommended awarding the bid to Meridian Roofing, noting their ability to start the project within 30 days of the bid award and complete it within the same timeframe. The project will be funded through the County’s Capital Improvement Fund, with sufficient funds available. The Commission unanimously passed the recommendation.
