Salina Woman Arrested in Connection to Taking Kids Out of Protective Custody

On Wednesday, September 20 at 10 pm, officers were sent to the 1500 block of Dover. Earlier in the day, 21-year-old Katherine Lynn, had her 1-year-old and 3-year-old children placed in police protective custody, and subsequently placed in a home.

Lynn had allegedly went to the home where her children were at, walked in the house without permission, and took her kids. Officers went to Lynn's house, and retrieved the children back into protective custody. Lynn was arrested on the following requested charges:

  • Aggravated Burglary
  • 2 counts Violation of Protection Order
  • 2 counts Aggravated Interference of Parental Custody
  • 2 counts Child Endangerment
