Racing enthusiasts have something to rev their engines about as Salina Speedway has released its tentative 2026 schedule, promising a season filled with high-octane excitement, special events, and championship racing action.
The season kicks off in late April with test and tune sessions before roaring into full gear with Opening Night on May 2nd, featuring a $1,000-to-win Modified race. From spring through fall, the speedway will host weekly racing events featuring multiple classes including Modifieds, Stock Cars, Hobby Stocks, Northern Sport Mods, Sport Compacts, and Crown Vics.
"This season offers something for every racing fan," said speedway officials. "From our traditional weekly shows to special events like our Independence Day Fireworks Special and the Revival Super Dirt Series, we're committed to providing top-tier entertainment."
Special highlights include three major money races: a $1,000-to-win Stock Car event in June, a $1,000-to-win Sport Mods race in August, and a $1,000-to-win Modifieds showcase later in August. The season culminates with Championship Night on September 26th, followed by the popular Thunder on the Plain fireworks show and the wildly entertaining Crashtoberfest Demo Derby in October.
