It was a great day to be a Cougar!!! The Cougs took 3 of 4 1st places with two of them being new team PR's and Top 5 scores in the State of Kansas! Both Varsity teams were able to go 2-0 on league mates Maize and Maize South. They both move to 4-1 in league play this year with just Campus left to bowl against.

The Varsity Boys shot their best mark of the year with a 2730! This is a 163 pin improvement from their previous season best. It is the 5th best Team score in the State of Kansas this year for all classes. The Cougs were led by Nathan Frees who shot a new personal best 731 series! It is also tied for the 13th best series in all classes in the State of Kansas this year. Nathan did this with the help of a 262 high game. The Cougs also took 3 other top 5 places. Campbell Peterson placed in the top 5 yet again with his 657 series and 237 high game. Paul Hawksworth took 4th by just one pin with his 656 series and 256 high game. Will Krannawitter took 5th with his 641 series and 243 high game.

The JV Boys took 2nd to an impressive Maize JV team. They were able to put together a 1755 series. The only top 5 placer was Jeff Piepho with his 565 series and 206 high game.

The Varsity Girls also shot their best mark of the year by 88 pins. They were able to put together a 2252 series, which is the 4th best series for all classes in the State of Kansas! They were led by Rylee Lambeth who has now won her second meet of the year. She did this with her 616 series and 233 high game. The Lady Cougs had help from Callie Vargas who placed 3rd with her 552 series and 222 high game. Rita Boland also grabbed her first Varsity Top 5 on a personal best game and series today! She had a series of 525 and high game of 211!

The JV Girls were able to take 1st today with their 1425 series. They also took the top 5 places! They were; 1st Claire McCullough (377/136), 2nd Ashdan Lee (369/143), 3rd Saibre Montoy (367/137), 4th Addison Marshall (342/135), and 5th Lakin Soden (339/119).
