It was a day of skating and brawling at the 4H Building on Saturday, as Salina Sirens hosted roller derby teams from around the country in a Fall Brawl.

Teams from as far away as New York and as close as Wichita traveled to Salina to bout it out and jam it up, roller derby style.

Over 100 players laced up their skates in four separate bouts made up of Juniors, Women's Advanced, Co-ed, and Beginners.

The chairs were packed as fans supported their favorite skater with signs and roller derby shirts.

A silent auction was held to support the Salina Sirens. Businesses in and around Salina donated gift certificates and other items.

The Salina Sirens meet for practice each Monday at 6pm, in the 4H Building. This time is for people to come watch, as well as find out what roller derby is all about.
