The Salina Police Department recently hosted an intensive 80-hour Defensive Tactics Instructor Certification Course for the Kansas Department of Corrections (KDOC) at the Salina Regional Training Center from April 17 to April 28, 2023. A total of 23 KDOC staff members successfully completed the course and received their DT Instructor Certifications.
KDOC Sergeant Paulson, a Defensive Tactics Master Instructor, presented SPD Sergeant Brown with a plaque of appreciation for the Salina Police Department's gracious hospitality in hosting the course. The event was a remarkable success and is a testament to the commitment of both organizations to training and professional development.
