SALINA, KS — Salina Parks & Recreation has released its 2025 Senior Trips & Tours schedule, offering residents age 50 and older the opportunity to participate in a variety of fun, educational, and enriching regional excursions. Each trip departs from the Salina Fieldhouse and includes transportation. Several trips also include meals and admission to attractions.
The upcoming season offers something for everyone—from theater performances and cultural experiences to dazzling holiday lights and historical tours.
2025 Senior Trips Schedule Highlights
Kansas State Fair
Wednesday, Sept. 10 | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM | $40
Enjoy a full day at the Kansas State Fair with live entertainment, exhibits, food vouchers, and rail/sky ride tickets. Admission and extras included.
Kansas City Renaissance Festival
Saturday, Sept. 20 | 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM | $40
Experience 16th-century life through crafts, jousting, live shows, and more. Admission included; meals on your own.
Kansas City Cultural Experience: Jazz & Negro Leagues Museums
