Salina Police responded to a residential burglary on East Jewel Street between April 30th at 5:00 pm and May 3rd at 5:18 pm. The victim, a 43-year-old male from Salina, had recently purchased the property and was in the process of doing renovation work, resulting in a significant collection of tools inside the residence.
Upon returning, the victim discovered a broken window through which entry had been gained, with numerous tools missing. The total value of the stolen goods, including the damaged window, amounts to $5,060. Among the stolen items were a $175 handgun, a $50 sword, an antique baseball glove valued at $200, and various tools constituting the bulk of the stolen property. The incident remains under investigation by authorities.
