Salina Man Suffers Weekend Gunshot Wound

Officers were sent to the ER at SRHC on Sunday, October 1, at 9:24 pm. The hospital had called in reporting a patient with a gunshot wound to the hand. The 40-year-old male victim claimed he was outside his house in the 100 block of S Columbia. An unknown individual approached him and tried to grab his wallet, displaying a gun. The victim grabbed the gun and was shot in the hand.
