On Wednesday, August 2 at around 9 pm, a 40-year-old male was stabbed near Immanuel Lutheran Church, located at 255 S 7th St. The victim, a resident of Salina, suffered a serious stab wound to the abdomen.
The victim was reportedly resting near a bush when the attack occurred. The assailant, believed to be a male individual, approached the victim and inflicted the stab wound without any apparent provocation or known altercation.
