Salina Man Arrested for Aggravated Criminal Sodomy and Sexual Battery

On May 23, between 3:30 pm and 8:50 pm, an incident of sexual assault occurred in the 1800 block of North Fifth Street in Salina. The victim, a 28-year-old female, reported being forced to perform a sexual act against her will by a 23-year-old male, Skyler Matthew Meyer.

Meyer was later contacted by police and arrested. He faces requested charges of aggravated criminal sodomy and sexual battery. The investigation is ongoing.
