In an incident unfolding on Sunday, December 3, at 10:22 pm, officers endeavored to apprehend 25-year-old Simon Crowder in the 100 block of S Front in connection to possibly stalking order violations. The officers, after knocking on Crowder's door, were met by the individual. However, as they sought to effectuate the arrest, Crowder purportedly retreated back into the residence, slamming the door and hitting an officer with the door in the process. Subsequently, the officers opted for a forced entry into the premises, successfully apprehending Crowder. After continued resistance, he was securely confined in a body wrap.
