Salina Man Arrested After Motorcycle Chase, Drug Charges

A 32-year-old Salina resident, Mikhail Wylie, was arrested after leading police on a motorcycle chase on November 27. At 11:45 PM, officers observed Wylie's black motorcycle traveling 50 mph in a 30 mph zone with a non-functioning rear lamp on Osage Avenue.

When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, Wylie led them through several streets, reaching speeds of 58 mph before stopping in the 1400 block of West Cloud. He fled on foot but was apprehended on Wynonna Street.

Officers discovered methamphetamine during the arrest. Wylie faces charges including felony fleeing, reckless driving, felony interference, drug possession, lack of drug tax stamp, driving without a valid motorcycle license, and multiple traffic violations.
