On Friday, August 18 at 7:08 am, officers were sent to the 1800 block of Highland for the report of tires being slashed on a vehicle.
The 52-year-old female victim reported that her driver's side tires on a 2019 Ford Edge had been slashed, and that she suspected her ex-boyfriend, 44-year-old Matthew Boyer.
On Saturday, August 19 at 6:50 am, officers were sent back to the same house for another damage to property report. The victim had reported that she heard a loud crash, when someone had allegedly threw a large wrench through her bay window. The victim showed officers alleged messages between her and Boyer, involving possible harrassment by him.
Later on Saturday, officers located Boyer's silver Dodge Ram Pickup in the 1600 block of W Magnolia, and stopped it. Boyer was arrested on the following requested charges of DUI, felony damage to property, misdemeanor damage to property, stalking, and harassment by phone.
