The Salina Fire Department is recognizing one of its own this week as firefighter Seth Myers has officially graduated from paramedic class, marking a major professional milestone built on long hours, advanced training, and steady commitment.
Myers completed the program while continuing to work his regular 24/48 shift schedule, a balance the department described as both demanding and disciplined. Paramedic certification is one of the highest levels of pre-hospital medical training, expanding a responder’s ability to provide critical care in emergencies.
The department noted that Myers’ achievement reflects both personal dedication and the ongoing investment Salina Fire makes in developing skilled, highly trained personnel who serve the community each day.
“We’re proud to have Seth on our team and excited to see him take this next step in his career,” the department shared.
Myers’ certification adds to the department’s advanced life-support capabilities, strengthening emergency response efforts across Salina.
