Salina Family Healthcare Center Offering First Aid & CPR Classes for Teens

SALINA, KS – Teens in Salina and surrounding areas now have the opportunity to gain life-saving skills through specialized First Aid and CPR training. Salina Family Healthcare Center is hosting two upcoming sessions on March 19 and May 29, 2025, designed specifically for youth ages 12-18.

This hands-on course, taught using the American Heart Association (AHA) curriculum, will equip participants with the skills needed to respond to medical and traumatic emergencies. The training includes CPR and choking relief for adults, children, and infants, proper AED usage, and how to recognize environmental safety hazards while ensuring personal safety in emergency situations.

Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a two-year certification from the American Heart Association, making this training particularly valuable for babysitters, summer job seekers, and future healthcare professionals.

Registration is now open at SalinaHealth.org/CPR-Classes, with a class fee of $50 per person. Space is limited, so early registration is encouraged.
