Voters in Salina returned two incumbent City Commissioners to office on Tuesday and elected one new member to the five-seat board. Commissioners Trent W. Davis and Greg Lenkiewicz retained their seats, while Doug Rempp was elected to the City Commission, filling the seat previously held by Bill Longbine.

Voters also selected three members to the USD 305 Board of Education. Amy Freelove, Dana Johnson, and Gabe Grant won the three seats available.

Freelove led the field, followed by Johnson and Grant. Schamberger finished close behind Grant, but not within the margin needed to change the final outcome once all precincts were counted.
Turnout
A total of 8,200 ballots were cast in the election (unofficial), from 37,736 registered voters, producing an overall turnout of 21.73%. Of those ballots, 6,044 were cast on Election Day, 1,676 were submitted during early voting, and 480 were received via advance ballot.
