Salina Community Invited to "Storm Fury on the Plains" Event for Severe Weather Safety Education

Salina residents are invited to the "Storm Fury on the Plains" event on February 6 for an educational session on severe weather safety. Hosted by Saline County Emergency Management and the National Weather Service in Wichita, this free program aims to teach the basics of thunderstorm development, weather safety, and effective reporting techniques.

The event will be held at Kansas Wesleyan University's Peter Science Hall Room 201, with doors opening at 6 p.m. and the program starting at 6:30 p.m.
