On Tuesday night, the Salina Central Volleyball team embarked on a journey to Wichita. In the Varsity category, the Mustangs faced Andover and suffered a defeat with scores of 15-25 and 13-25. However, they managed to secure a victory against Ark City with scores of 25-21 and 25-20, bringing their overall record to 8-2.
Meanwhile, the Junior Varsity (JV) team had a similar fate against Andover, losing with scores of 16-25 and 17-25. Nevertheless, they bounced back with a win against Ark City, achieving scores of 25-10 and 25-14.
Looking ahead, the Mustangs are set to play at home, hosting a triangular event on Tuesday, September 12, with the games kicking off at 5 pm.
