Four Salina arts organizations are inviting the public to participate in "Passport to the Arts," a community activity celebrating their anniversaries and National Arts & Humanities Month.
The activity runs from October 6-31 and involves visiting the Salina Symphony, Theatre Salina, Salina Arts & Humanities, and the Smoky Hill Museum. Participants collect hole punches on a card at each location, and completed cards will be entered into a drawing for gift packages containing items or event tickets from two of the participating organizations.
To participate, visitors can begin at any of the four locations to pick up a punch card, fill out information on the back, and receive their first punch before visiting the remaining organizations. The activity is free.
Each organization will draw one winner from completed punch cards on November 5. Participants must be 18 or older to win. Winners will be announced and contacted after the drawing.
The participating locations are:
- Salina Symphony: 151 S Santa Fe Ave, Office Entrance, Second Floor
- Theatre Salina: 303 E Iron Ave
- Salina Arts & Humanities: 211 W Iron Ave, Second Floor
- Smoky Hill Museum: 211 W Iron Ave
The activity coincides with National Arts & Humanities Month, an annual recognition of the role of culture in American communities.
