The Salina Area Chamber of Commerce has a long history of providing members and the community with opportunities to explore the world. Past Chamber trips have included destinations such as Ireland, China, Scotland, Greece, Vietnam, Australia, New Zealand, Portugal, and Holland. Planning is now underway for several new travel experiences in 2026 and 2027.

Highlights of England, Scotland & Wales
September 11–20, 2026
This 10-day journey offers a comprehensive introduction to the United Kingdom’s cultural and historic landmarks. The tour features guided visits to Edinburgh Castle, York Minster, Cardiff Castle, Stonehenge, and the Roman Baths. Travelers will also experience the Scotch Whisky Experience, Shakespeare’s Birthplace, and the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace. The trip includes round-trip airfare from Kansas City, 8 nights in first-class hotels, 11 meals, a professional tour director, motorcoach transportation, baggage handling, and transfers. The itinerary also provides transportation to the University of Kansas vs. Arizona State football game at Wembley Stadium. (Game tickets not included.)
Treasures of Croatia & Slovenia
October 20–30, 2026
This 11-day tour highlights the historic cities and natural landscapes of Croatia and Slovenia, including walking tours of Zagreb, Split, Ljubljana, Zadar, and Dubrovnik. Travelers will visit six UNESCO World Heritage Sites, ride an electric train through Postojna Cave, and take a boat excursion through Plitvice Lakes National Park. The trip features two-night stays in Ljubljana, Split, and Dubrovnik, first-class accommodations, 15 meals, admissions to scheduled attractions, motorcoach transportation, and services of a professional tour director. The group will depart Salina by motorcoach with international flights departing from Kansas City.
Kenya Safari (Second Departure Added)
February 16–28, 2026
Due to strong interest and the first departure selling out, a second Kenya Safari trip has been added. This experience includes 10 wildlife game drives in Amboseli National Park, Masai Mara Game Reserve, Samburu Game Reserve, Ol Pejeta Conservancy, and Lake Nakuru National Park. Additional highlights include time at Mount Kenya Safari Club, views of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and visits to the Giraffe Center and Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary. The package includes 29 meals, park entrance fees, tour manager services, safari driver guides, two internal flights in Kenya, motorcoach transportation from Salina, and international airfare from Kansas City.
Antarctica Cruise
January 29–February 13, 2027
The Chamber will host a 14-night cruise to Antarctica aboard the Celebrity Equinox. The itinerary includes travel to Ushuaia, Cape Horn, Paradise Bay, Gerlache Strait, Schollert Channel, Elephant Island, Port Stanley (Falkland Islands), Puerto Madryn, and Montevideo. Passengers will have the opportunity to view glaciers, penguins, whales, leopard seals, elephant seals, and Antarctic landscapes. The cruise includes stateroom accommodations, onboard dining, entertainment, and access to ship amenities.
