Rider Injured After Motorcycle Hit in West Salina

On Tuesday, August 1 at 3:37 pm, Officers responded to a motorcycle/vehicle crash at the intersection of Centennial/Cloud.

A blue 2006 Harley Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle was traveling north in the 1800 block of Centennial. The vehicle was driven by a 48-year-old Salina man. A white 2013 Subaru Legacy begin driving by an 83-year-old Salina man, who made a left hand turn south onto Centennial from Cloud. The driver of the Subaru made the turn in front of the motorcycle, which caused the rider to run into the car.

The rider was wearing a helmet and was transported to SRHC for serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The driver was cited for Failure to Yield at a Stop Sign.
