Mark your calendars for this Friday night as the highly anticipated annual Power Wheels race makes its comeback at Salina Speedway. In memory of the late Mike Wiegert, a devoted supporter and organizer of the event, this year's race promises to be a memorable experience.
Taking place on Friday, June 9th, the race will be held during intermission on the frontstretch of Salina Speedway. If your kiddo has a Power Wheels machine and wants to take part it's free not only to participate but to get in to the races with a paying adult.
The race will feature two age categories:
- 6 & Under
- 7-10
To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience, the following rules apply:
- Power wheels must use a 12V or lower (9V, 6V, etc.) battery securely attached to the vehicle
- All drivers are required to wear at least a bicycle helmet for their safety
- Bands may be added to the front tires only, although this is optional
This fantastic event offers children the opportunity to showcase their racing skills on the grand track, providing a thrilling experience for all. Salina Speedway eagerly anticipates a fantastic and successful event.
