Police are investigating a robbery that occurred at Pit Stop convenience store at 647 West Cloud on November 30 around 3 PM.
According to reports, a male suspect entered the store and demanded money from the 24-year-old female clerk. When she refused, the suspect went behind the counter and forcibly took the entire cash register, despite the clerk's attempts to stop him. He then fled on foot.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 6'1" to 6'3" tall, weighing between 250-280 pounds. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, baseball cap, dark face mask that revealed only his eyes, and dark winter gloves.
Police are reviewing surveillance footage from the area. The amount of money stolen has not been disclosed due to the ongoing investigation.
