Salina, KS — Authorities are investigating a theft that occurred on November 22nd at a Dollar General store, where an unidentified man reportedly stole a bank deposit inadvertently dropped by an employee.
According to reports, the incident took place around 3:00 PM. Surveillance footage captured a white male, believed to be in his 40s to 50s, picking up the dropped deposit before entering the store. The man then exited the premises, re-entered shortly after to purchase items, and departed again.
The stolen deposit is estimated to be $1,500. The store employee, a 27-year-old male, reported that he did not recognize the suspect.
Salina Police are actively investigating the case and reviewing surveillance footage to identify the individual involved. Authorities are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact them.
