Passenger Suffers Broken Nose After 2-Vehicle Accident

An injury accident occurred over the weekend in southwest Salina.

Sgt Tonniges says that the accident occurred at the intersection of Broadway and Republic on Friday, August 11 at 9:52 pm.

A black 2012 Dodge Journey was reportedly northbound on Broadway, being driven by a Salina woman. A 1998 Honda Accord, being driven southbound on Broadway, attempted to make a left hand turn onto Republic, turning in front of the Dodge and causing the collision.

A passenger in the Dodge was transported to SRHC by EMS for a possible broken nose. Both drivers and the passenger were wearing a seat belt.
