A Salina woman and Abilene man were allegedly found in an east Salina apartment that was supposed to be empty.
Captain Forrester says that officers were called to 2130 E Crawford on April 4 at 11 am. The victim is Collier Leasing. Officers were advised that apartment 116 should have been empty, but a witness had allegedly seen someone through the window. An officer at the back of the apartment had reportedly seen two subjects attempt to leave out the back window. On trying to make contact, the two allegedly went back into the apartment. Officers then made contact at the front door.
20-year-old Kaylee Pickering of Salina had three warrants. Two of them were Failure to Appear out of Salina Municipal Court, and one was Failure to Appear out of Sumner County. When arrested, Pickering allegedly was in possession of drug paraphernalia with suspected fentanyl residue on it. In addition to the warrants, requested charges include:
- Possession of Opiate
- Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
- Trespassing
23-year-old Dylan Woodcox of Abilene has the requested charge of trespassing.
